JEWELLERY CARE GUIDE

Your jewellery is handcrafted from solid sterling silver or gold. With a little regular care, your pieces will continue to shine beautifully for years to come.

Everyday Care:

  • Avoid harsh chemicals: Remove your jewellery before cleaning, or applying lotions and perfumes. While silver and gold are hardy and strong, to ensure they keep as shiny and perfect as possible it's best to avoid harsh chemicals.
  • Store properly: When not in use, keep each piece in a soft pouch or box to prevent scratches and tarnish.

How to Keep Your Jewellery Shiny:

  • Polish regularly:
Use a silver or gold polishing cloth to gently rub away any dullness or tarnish.
  • Deep clean occasionally:
Mix a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water. Soak your jewellery for a few minutes, then gently clean it with a soft toothbrush or cloth. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a soft towel.
  • Cleaning stones:
For pieces with gemstones, use hot soapy water (not boiling) and a soft brush to clean around the settings. Avoid chemical cleaners or ultrasonic machines, as they can loosen or damage delicate stones.

Green Fingers:

A slight green mark can sometimes appear when wearing solid sterling silver, this is harmless and usually fades as you skin adjusts. We us 100% solid sterling silver with no coatings, verified by the London Assay Office in line with UK regulations. The temporary mark is simply caused by the natural copper in sterling silver reacting with your skin, and it will wash away and reduce with regular wear. If your skin becomes red or sore, this may indicate a more severe reaction, please consult your doctor.
